Easter Sunday
Happy Easter!
The kids and I went to church this morning, picked Eric up and drove out to Sun City West to our grandparents house. We hung out at their house for a little bit then went out to eat. The first restaurant we went to was a COMPLETE NO! The place was packed and so the second choice was WAY better! It was quiet, you could actually hear what one another had to say and we really enjoyed our time together. We stayed there for a couple hours! Ivan was getting pretty fussy, hence he had no nap. Well, I took Elle to the restroom and he did not like me leaving him with the rest of the family. Soon after we were gone, Lee came into the restroom with Ivan. Ivan, Elle and I get back to our table and their was a huge Easter basket at Ivan’s place. So the kids fight over the basket for a while, and then appears a basket for Elle! Two happy tired kids ready to get in the car and sleep.
We had a great day and ended it off with a couple pieces of candy! Hope you had a great Easter too!

GI Jane Bunco
GI Jane bunco was held at Amber’s house and all the girls dressed to impress. Camo was worn by all and we had a great time! Meeting new girls, laughing, eating, drinking and rolling dice!

Easter with friends
My friend Jodi had her family, Nicole’s family and mine over to celebrate Easter. The food was fantastic, the kids had an amazing Easter egg hunt, we swam and played volleyball. It was a blast.

First day of school
Ivan started school today! YES! The day after his 2nd birthday! Ivan did not cry, he was nervous; he had his fingers in his mouth like Elle does when she gets nervous. Too cute. I wish I had my camera to video his reaction when we went to pick him up. He was so excited, talking up a storm, jumping, laughing and just did not want to leave. School is going to be so good for him!

Look who is 2!!
Ivan turned 2 today! He is getting so big. I love him so much and he is so proud to be two. Elle and I sang him happy birthday, he blew his candle out and opened his presents then went to bed. He had a great day! Happy Birthday to my little man! I love you so much!

Glamma’s in town
Glamma and grandpa Lee came to AZ this weekend and stayed at The Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort. Its a great time there, we hang out and swim all day, take a boat ride, eat and just relax. The kids were so excited to go swimming, but it took them a LONG time to get into the water if they did at all. If we took them under the water you would have thought we were trying to kill them, they were screaming so loud. I took them each down the water slide a couple times and I enjoyed it, don’t think they did. They will be fish here in no time, they have to refresh their skills from Infant Swimming Resources starting the end of May!
Anyways, we had a great short visit with Glamma and Grandpa Lee. We celebrated the kids birthdays and Easter. They got to see Elle’s first soccer game. We can’t wait to see them again!

Elle and Soccer
Well, a couple of Elle’s friends play soccer and last year we went to many games. She always told me she wanted to play, so when I signed her up for this spring soccer I thought she would be good to go. Well, it has definitely been a challenge getting her excited to play. She is really good at kicking the ball back and forth with me and some of her friends. However, when it comes to practicing/playing with her team its another story. She freezes, runs funny, walks, twirls her hair and looks like she is in lala land! Its pretty comical.
Today was her first game, and her coach was great. When she was in to play, she did a lot of wandering around. He got her into the game and let her kick the ball in from off the field and assisted in our first goal. So that was exciting and comical.

Time to Clean your WASHER!
Today here in Arizona its rainy and about 44 degrees. So the kids and I have bummed around this morning, cleaning, eating and playing. I was reading one of the blogs I like and found this…

I will be doing this today, since I have not washed my WASHER EVER!!! I do however do this with my dishwasher and its great! Happy Cleaning:)
Amanda and Keira’s visit

My cousins arrived Friday and stayed with grandpa and grandma. The kids and I went out to their house Saturday and then the whole family came to my house Sunday for lunch.
Saturday when at the grandparents house, the kids ran wild, colored, played Barbies. For lunch we went to Peter Piper Pizza to let the kids play and expend some energy. It worked because when we got home, they were all a little more tired.
Sunday, Amanda and Keira spent the night at my house and Monday morning we all went to the Phoenix Zoo. I unfortunately could not find my camera and I’m bummed I missed out on some great photos. Amanda got some good ones though!
Tuesday, Amanda, Keira and I went swimming again and then met our grandparents at Cracker Barrel for dinner and let Amanda and Keira spend one more night with them before they headed home to Ohio. Keira really made me sad. She was crying and telling me she was gonna miss me, Elle and Ivan.
Amanda and I are only two months apart and pretty much grew up doing lots of things together. I find it amazing that we both had girls first and they are 4 months apart and then our sons are 5 months apart. I wish Ethan could have come this time, but I am sure the kids and I will get back to Ohio at some point. We will definitely see them!
We had a great time and wish the time did not go so fast. Until next time…
Dancing Princesses
My cousins Amanda and Keira came to Arizona to visit our family. I got the pleasure of having them stay with us for two nights. Elle and Keira had a great time together and Keira was so sad to say ‘goodbye’. Keira had never seen ‘Tangled’ so we watched it Sunday night and this was what the girls were doing after the movie. Enjoy!
Giddy’up Cowgirl
Bunco last night was at Kami’s house and she just lives houses down from mine. It was so nice walking down and back home. Knowing my kids were sleeping and being watched just houses down was great! I got to relax and have a fun time with my girlfriends.
Tonight’s theme was Cowgirl, so I had the perfect outfit; a jean dress, braided front/side ponytail, my cowboy boots and a pink handkerchief Nicole gave me! Being silly and having some fun with my friends! Isn’t that what friends are for, to let you be your silly self?! Love you girls and all the ones that were not there and my friends in other states!

CrossFit BattleFit party
Last night I had the girls over plus Daron(he really is one of the girls! ha!) to celebrate Laura’s wedding and just to get us all together and have a good time. Well, we always have fun at my house, so that was not hard! Daron and Nicole brought over their fire pit and we set it up outside after we all had some food.
We all workout together and have fun while at the gym, so add a little alcohol and we are WILD! Laura had a great time and we sent her off to become a wife with pride! The next day we all got up and went to WOD and we were not that hung over, but could have done without running. We named ourselves the CrossFit Sisterhood of the traveling Sweatpants! May 1st most of us are doing the Warrior Dash and will be coming up with some fun outfits so we look like a group. Can’t wait to show you those photos, so stay tuned.
